AMA is build with GPT models from OpenAI. If the usage limit have been reached you will need an OpenAI API key.
To begin, visit https://platform.openai.com/account/api-keys
You should be prompted with two options, Log in, or Sign up:
If you are a brand new OpenAI user, select "Sign up" If you are an existing OpenAI user and have an account, simply log in to it and continue.
Click on your username in the top right corner and select "Manage account".
Select "API keys" and click on the "Create new secret key" button.
You can start experimenting with $5 in free credit that can be used during your first 3 months.
The price for the model used by default on AMA (gpt-3.5-turbo) is $0.0015 / 1K tokens. This represents roughly 2,400,000 words for 5$.
You can use this tool to understand how a piece of text would be tokenized by the API, and get the total count of tokens in your request. To learn more about OpenAI API pricing you can visit https://openai.com/pricing.
You can also find a summary of API usage for your organization if you click on "Usage" in the "Manage account" page.
